Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day this year was GREAT! We decided to celebrate it on Friday so that we could actually have a babysitter. So on Friday night Kyle surprised me by going to this resort in Midway and had the room we would be staying in covered in roses, rose pedals and chocolate covered strawberries.(ummm they were good) We went to dinner at a restaurant at the resort and had tons of fun. It's always nice to get away for a night!! While we were having a wonderful night poor Brayden was not so good. Grandma and Grandpa Stoddard and Uncle Justin watched Brayden for the night and from what I am told he wasn't on his best behavior. Grandma Stoddard aka Grams said that he would be playing for a while and then start crying and run for the garage door. (oh man break my heart) And then the best part... Brayden woke up at 2:00am and wouldn't stop crying to go back asleep until 5:00am. Poor Brayden and Justin.

I have the hardest time finding a gift for Kyle for Valentine's Day. Really lets be honest, it's a girl holiday! You can go buy us girls flowers, candy, jewelry and or balloons. And boys I just don't know!!! So Kyle got a new watch and a PSP game (Romantic huh?)

And I got a romantic night at the hotel and this way cute apron that I have been wanting for a long time. Brayden also really likes it as you can see. The pockets are perfect for holding his sippy cup and some fruit snacks.
