Merry Christmas with the Stoddard Clan

This Christmas we get to spend with my family, so we decided to celebrate Christmas morning a little early with Kyle's family. So on Sunday morning bright and early we headed up to Midway to surprise LaDawn (Kyle's mom). No one knew that we were planning on being up there to go to church with everyone. (yes church was at 9 am!!) They were all very surprised when they walked into the chapel and we had a seat saved waiting for them. After church we did our usual thing: eat lunch put Brayden down for a nap and did a puzzle.

When B woke up from his nap he was promised that he could open up a present. So here he is with his first Christmas present for 2009. I can't tell you how happy I am with this wonderful gift that Grams and Paps gave him. He got a pair of drum sticks that make a sound like you are hitting drums when you wave them around. It would be fine to have them except for the fact that I know he is going to hit every little thing in our house with them, including me and Kyle.

We then had an amazing Ham dinner and decided it was time to open up all of our presents to one another. It was so much fun to watch everyone get gifts but I have to say Brayden was the best to watch. He really enjoyed every minute of it.

Brandon, Jess, Justin and Avi hanging out getting ready to tear into those presents.

What a cute little couple! Justin it's time to pop the question already!!

Here is Brayden with his new counting book from Grams and Paps. Now hopefully with a little practice he can go back to counting to 10 with all ten numbers instead of just 1,2,8,9,10.

Brandon and Jessica just getting their gifts from me and Kyle!

Ladawn enjoying her new boots we got her. I must say I am a little jealous, I really liked the boats. If they were my size she might not have been getting them after all.

Brayden got an awesome pair of Jordans from Justin and I must say he really loves those things. Last night when we got home from Midway we fought with B for a half an hour trying to make him take the shoes off so that he could go to bed. Seriously he was freaking out when we pulled them off of him. He finally calmed down and went to bed, but not one second after he woke up in the morning he was wearing them again.

Sterling opening up his new slippers from our family.

I got a sweet black coat from Justin that I absolutely love.

This is Jayda's first Christmas; she really got the hang of things pretty fast. She is a girl after all and us girls love getting new things.

Kyle was pretty excited about his new slippers from Justin. I must say they are pretty cool!

Brayden with his new Lightning McQueen book that he thought was pretty cool until he saw this present...

Buzz Buzz. That's what Brayden calls him and absolutely loves that movie. We would watch Toy Story 6 times a day if it were up to B. After we opened all our presents, which I must say we were very spoiled thank you all so much for the gifts; we played a little game of what if... We had A LOT of fun. I was laughing so hard I was crying. There were some pretty outrageous what ifs.

This is what happens to little boys when they have had so much fun all in one day. Brayden was all tuckered out by the time we got in the car and headed home.
